Our mission is to foster a community of knowledge-sharing and innovation, empowering our members to create compelling stories and insightful content.   • Founder & Project Coordination | LATIN AMERICA

    Fritz Pinnow is an independent journalist and documentary photographer based in Central America. He focuses primarily on conflict, violence, development, and humanitarianism, as well as sourcing and providing local perspectives to the international discourse. Fritz has worked on projects in Colombia, Ukraine, Germany and Honduras.

    Apart from other individual freelance assignments, Fritz is a regular contributor to The Guardian and The New Humanitarian.

    Also, he works as a Communications Officer/Researcher at the Centre for the Study of Illicit Economies, Violence and Development (CIVAD) in London.

    Eleanor has a background in Human Rights Law and primarily investigates issues regarding migration within and outside the UK.

    Her research has been published in the Refugee Law Clinic and the Refugee Law Initiative.

    Caspar Ermert, is a 23-year-old photographer from Düsseldorf, Germany. His renowned work is focusing on humanitarian crises/issues, social change, and conflicts. His work spans across Germany, Poland, Colombia, the Northern Iraq, Northeast Syria, and Bosnia. Through his lens, he tells the stories of those living amidst crises and social change, giving them a voice. His images capture the essence of the human experience in challenging times, inspiring change and solidarity.

    Lucas Kontny is a documentary photographer whose work focuses on social, political, and conflict-related issues. With a critical eye and empathetic approach, he captures the reality of society and sheds light on important topics. His images tell stories of people in difficult situations, political unrest, and social injustices. Through his photography, he manages to provoke thought and establish a connection to the depicted themes. Currently, he is working in Europe and the Middle East.
